A composition about an inverted city. Plates with a cellular honeycomb texture descend in tiers, and the composition reads as a stalactite cave — architecture grown from the top down, with no foundation.
Three finishes lead three parts: whiteness for purity and structure, transparency for depth, gold for warmth and accent. The white upper tier melts into clear, the gold burns at the core.
By day it is a cellular mass read through texture and the transition of tones — a dense, almost architectural piece. In the evening the light lives between the plates and inside the cells: the honeycomb flares as a net, the clear tiers recede into depth, the gold goes white-hot at the centre. A cave of treasure built with a jeweller's precision.
Where it works
Generous rooms with high ceilings — lobbies, atriums, double-height living rooms, banqueting halls. Tiering only exists where there is height to spare.
Style
Art Deco and natural architecture: the cave as a formal motif. The message is rich — a piece for a space that has to astonish.
The tiering, the share of gold and the dimensions are all made to order.

@vargov_design →Light composition LC0417 The composition is assembled from three types of element: white ceramic with a glossy enamel, ceramic elements with a gold coating, and clear glass elements. The form of each element is multi-faceted, with a living, uneven geometry. The surface catches the light at different angles, creating a complex play of highlights and depth of perception. White glossy ceramic gives purity and architectural graphics. Gold adds warmth and accent, heightening the effect of inner glow. Clear glass works as a light resonator — it refracts, scatters and amplifies the flow of light. In the composition the elements come together into a multi-level cloud: a clear vertical rhythm at the top and a dense crystalline cascade below. Light passes through the form, emphasising the texture and creating a sense of living structure.
