Lighting composition
LC0416
A composition about a branch under the weight of a harvest. The sprigs bend into crescents — not for beauty but because they carry a load: the form follows the weight of the clusters.
The crystals are amber and clear intermixed — large grains and shards of ice in one bunch, the warm next to the cold.
By day it is a precious branch: the faceted clusters catch daylight and scatter it, a piece read through brilliance. In the evening points at the joints ignite the crystals from within — the amber ones fill with warmth, the clear ones flare cold, and the clusters begin to wink at one another. A harvest that glows.
Where it works
Above a long table, in a dining room, in a banqueting hall, above a bar counter. The crescent bend gives different heights above the table — the composition adapts to the zone.
Style
Art Deco and formal classicism: the cluster as a symbol of abundance. The message is generous and festive — a piece for the table people celebrate at.
The length of the branch, the mix of crystals and the proportion of amber are all made to order.
