Light as art

Lighting composition

LC0412

An abstraction, not an image. The elements are scattered along the branches rather than set on a grid, and each is turned its own way. The arrangement is free — the composition can run horizontally, wrap a corner, descend as a cascade.

Three-rayed elements with a core of light at the centre sit on dark branches curving through space.

By day it is dark graphic work with clear accents — a piece read through the lines of the branches and the silhouettes of the elements. In the evening the dark finish of the branches goes into shadow and only the elements' own lights remain, hanging in emptiness: the scatter appears entire.

Where it works

Living rooms, lobbies, stairwells, private studies. The free arrangement allows the composition to be assembled for a specific room geometry.

Selection by space: Hotel lobby and public spaces · Stairwell

Style

Art Deco and contemporary sculpture: the scattered rhythm as a motif. The message is poetic — a piece for an interior that loves stories.

The number of elements, the configuration of the branches and the dimensions are all made to order.
