A composition about mass. Hundreds of identical capsules — streamlined like grains, caught by a gold band — fold into a wave field with a deep relief. No single element matters here: only quantity works.

The grain form was chosen for its neutrality: it refers to nothing in particular and lets the mass read as a surface rather than as a set of objects.

By day it is a breathing relief beneath the ceiling: identical forms at differing heights read through light and shade, a field with not one accent. In the evening the light burns in the band and fills both halves of every grain with a soft radiance — the surface comes alive entire. A harvest of light suspended above a space.

Where it works

Generous rooms — lobbies, atriums, conference halls, retail galleries. The field is designed for an area: the composition covers a ceiling rather than occupying a point.

Style
