A composition about seeds filled with light. White valves open to reveal a clear core with a scattering of points shimmering inside it — a fruit shown in section, at the moment when everything inside is already ready. Above every bud is a comb of fine plates, like a crown.

Hundreds of buds at differing heights form a living relief — a wave rather than a plane.

By day it is white on white: the composition reads through the plasticity of the valves and combs, through light and shade, without one patch of colour. In the evening sparks flare inside the cores and the opened valves begin to glow from within — a fresh, clean register acquires a second layer.

Where it works

Light interiors — living rooms, dining rooms, spas, wedding and banqueting halls. The wave relief requires area: compressed, the composition loses its plasticity.
