A wall of rain caught in a single frame. The rods stand in a dense array, the lower edge wavy from the difference in heights — a downpour in which every thread is visible.

The light runs down the rod like a lightguide: the rod itself glows faintly while the drop at its end flares. The form of the drop is taken from a real one — at the moment of release, when it has left the surface but is not yet falling.

By day the composition reads graphically, as pure hatching against a pale ceiling. In the evening the rods vanish altogether and a row of bright points remains, suspended in the air: rain with the lines erased and only the drops left.

For large spaces: lobbies, atria, stairwells, double-height living rooms, banquet halls.

Style

Contemporary minimalism and high-tech: clean planes, transparency, an absence of decoration. The message is reduction — a composition about how one drop is enough to stand for rain.
