Lighting composition

A composition about an inverted colonnade. Turned spindles of spheres, rings and cones descend as a dense forest — a balustrade taken out of a palace and hung from the ceiling. Architecture deprived of its support and turned into light.
This is not a chandelier in the classic sense but a light environment with optical depth: the rhythm of the details and the pure geometry hold a space on their own.
By day it is a gold and clear forest: the turned profiles read as silhouettes and highlights, a dense and formal piece. In the evening light lives in the clear segments and the gold ends — the composition shimmers with warm brilliance and faceted transparency, and the colonnade turns out to be glowing right through.
Where it works
Lobbies, atriums, banqueting and conference halls, double-height living rooms. The dense forest requires height and area: the composition covers a ceiling entire.
Style
Art Deco and classical architecture: the baluster as a decorative module. The message is monumental — a piece for a formal hall.
The number of spindles, the proportion of gold to clear segments and the dimensions are all made to order.
