LC0540
A composition about frozen rain. The tubes descend in a dense cascade — jets caught by frost halfway down. The lower edge breathes: long and short alternate like the edge of melting ice.
Inside, a bubbled mass; outside, chrome tips: a cold, clean note held all the way through.
By day it is clear verticals with bubbles seen against the light — a piece read through rhythm and the ragged lower edge, strict and bright. In the evening thousands of bubbles flare along the whole length, and every tube turns into a column of radiance: the ice catches fire from within.
Where it works
Stairwells and the zone above a kitchen island, where verticals read at full height; contemporary spaces with panoramic windows and spare finishes. The cascade is designed for the height.
Style
Contemporary minimalism and high-tech: cold as an aesthetic position. The message is clean and technical — a piece for an interior with no embellishment.
The number of tubes, their lengths and the format of the cascade are all made to order.

@vargov_design →Light composition LC0540 A light element with double-sided illumination, made of clear glass with an inner textured structure recalling crystalline shards of ice. The lighting is built in at the top and bottom, so the light passes evenly through the whole volume of the element, refracting many times within the texture. In its cold state the glass looks graphic and architectural, and when switched on the light brings the inner structure to life, creating an effect of shimmer, depth and inner glow. Metal end elements emphasise the vertical and give the object a strict, technological character, balancing between a decorative art object and functional light.
