The same technique is taken in red glass: the rods are packed into planes that break and splay apart like a torn surface. Chromed pins run through the set and carry the sources; light stays inside the rods and thickens the red at the fractures. Voids are left between the planes, and the cables show through them. The composition reads horizontally. Made to project.
