A wood in autumn sun. Some elements are almost invisible, others burn amber — the mass never reads as dense, it shimmers in patches, like a crown with low sunlight striking through it.

Inside every element clear and gold are mixed in uneven runs: on some the gold takes almost the whole area, on others it stays a thin vein. No two are alike.

By day it is a cloud of crumpled film — light, rustling, almost transparent. In the evening the light passes through several layers and changes temperature on the way: through the clear it stays white, through the amber it fills with copper — a swarm of burning autumn leaves.

Where it works

For living rooms with high ceilings, stairwells, lobbies, zones above a table, winter gardens.

Style

Eco-modernism and warm classicism: timber, brass, natural fabrics, a subdued palette. The message is an Indian summer — a composition about the short season when light turns golden.
