A composition about a meadow after rain. Discs with a radial texture and a live wavy edge read as mushroom caps or as angelica flower heads — the sort of thing that appears in a meadow suddenly and all at once.

The composition brings a clearing, a meadow, a forest into an interior — and does it without one literal leaf.

By day it is a cloud of milky and amber umbrellas: the radial texture reads through light and shade, the edge lives by its irregularity. In the evening the light hides under the caps and lifts the rays from within — the meadow lights up from below, as under a low sun.
