Lighting composition
LC0544
A composition as a collection. Inside the large elements are gold ammonites in relief: ancient spirals of time enlarged by the faceting as by a lens. The piece is examined like the display case of a mineralogical museum assembled by a jeweller.
The faceting works as optics: it refracts, magnifies and animates the gold relief — the ammonites seem volumetric and almost in motion.
By day it is a cloud of faceted boulders with gold spirals inside — a piece read through refractions, and every element looks different depending on the angle. In the evening light circulates inside the facets, flaring on the ridges, and the ammonites emerge from the depth — time lit from inside the stone.
Where it works
Living rooms, studies, lobbies, reception rooms, gallery spaces. The composition is examined close up: it is hung no higher than necessary.
Style
Jewelled Art Nouveau and natural aesthetics: the fossil as a gem. The message is collectorly — a piece for someone who values detail.
The number of elements, the number of ammonites and the scale of the cloud are all made to order.

Inside each element is a relief golden form, referring to fossilised ammonites, ancient spirals of time and the memory of nature. The crystal works as a lens: it refracts the light, heightens the depth and makes the golden relief alive — three-dimensional, almost moving. Light accents placed within the mass of elements create the effect of a floating cloud, where light does not merely illuminate but shapes the space. Element LC0544 is an independent art object. Together they form a whole light sculpture uniting geometry, nature and jewel-like precision.
