Lighting composition
LC0545
A composition about a bouquet of living and man-made flowers at once. Two characters of corolla — milky white and smoky clear — are gathered into one garland, and the difference between them is not immediately visible: the composition breathes on that contrast.
At the core of every flower is a mirrored sphere and a soft light.
By day the white corollas read through matte plasticity while the clear ones play on highlights and depth: an airy, almost weightless piece. In the evening the white ones glow evenly and softly, the clear ones let light pass right through and flare — one and the same flower behaves in two ways. The moment of flowering, extended for good.
Where it works
Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, wedding halls, reception rooms. The garland is calculated for the length of the zone and hung at a level where the contrast between the two corollas is visible.
Style
Art Nouveau and romantic classicism: flowering as subject. The message is tender — a piece for a light interior.
