A composition about a setting for a firefly. In every drop a round opening is cut, and through it passes a cable with a point of light: the source hangs inside the form without touching it. Light and shell exist separately — the signature gesture of the series.

Hundreds of drops gather into a wave: matte white intermixed with clear green.

By day it is a calm wave of flat forms with windows — a piece read through silhouette and the depth of the bottle tone in the green ones. In the evening the white ones glow softly with borrowed light, the green ones fill with colour, and inside every opening a point of its own burns: the drop becomes a setting rather than a lamp.

Where it works

Living rooms, lobbies, meeting rooms, restaurants. The wave is built wide: the composition covers a zone rather than occupying a point.

Style
