A composition about a section. A dense concentric cutting — the section of a shell or a fingerprint enlarged to the size of a platter. A drawing that in nature is unique to every specimen is repeated here by the dozen, and that is the paradox of the piece.

The discs hang in tilted tiers, overlapping like scales. As you walk around, the grooves play a moiré — the drawing seems to rotate.

By day it is clear sections on gold spokes: pure texture, no colour, a piece for those who value optics over decor. In the evening light enters along the spoke and spreads through the grooves, turning every disc into a glowing spiral. The composition starts to rotate before your eyes.
