Lighting composition
LC0588
A composition about a galaxy of one's own. Planets hang in different orbits, elongated golden elements stitch the space between them like rockets on the launch pad, and the whole system opens slowly as you move through the room.
The round elements read as the surfaces of planets: a relief texture with craters and seas, lit around the edge by a fine ring of light.
By day it is a sculptural installation with a play of matte against mirrored: the relief reads through light and shade, the polished bodies catch the room. In the evening the room goes out and only space remains — glowing planet discs, trajectories, stars.
Where it works
Children's rooms, dark evening interiors, lobbies, stairwells, showrooms. The effect works with subdued ambient light.
Style
Cosmic modernism and mid-century: the orbit as a motif. The message is fairy-tale and contemporary — a piece for a space that loves stories.
The number of planets and rockets, the diameters and the drop heights are all made to order.

Large round glass elements recall the surfaces of planets and satellites — with craters, relief and a complex texture. Vertical light elements recall space rockets or satellites passing between orbits. They add movement, a vertical rhythm and a sense of real cosmic architecture to the composition. The composition unfolds especially atmospherically in dark interiors and children’s rooms: - by day it is a sculptural installation of glass and metal; - in the evening the space turns into a fantastical galaxy with its own stars, orbits and glowing planets.
