A column of bubbles in a glass. The composition looks as though it were rising rather than hanging: the top is held by an even net of cables while the spheres are grouped in clusters, as if pushed up from below.

Each sphere refracts in its own way, so no two are alike. The light hides in only a few and is passed onward: the neighbours pick it up, refract it and diffuse it — the whole mass glows and the sources never read.

By day it is a scatter of honey drops suspended in the air. In the evening the amber gives a warm aura that settles on ceiling and walls: the room ends up inside the glass rather than beneath it.

An elongated horizontal format — for long tables, bar counters, lobbies, panoramic living rooms, wine rooms.

Style

Warm modernism and gastronomic luxury: timber, brass, subdued light, deep tones. The message is a celebration at the table — a composition about that point in an evening when the second round has been poured.
