The same water lily, turned invisible. The discs are so transparent that they read only through relief and highlights along their rims — the form exists, the surface does not.

Matte white spheres are scattered between them — pearls, or roe caught in the foliage. The light passes through several layers in a row, refracting and diffusing: the source is lost and a radiance without an address remains.

By day it is a cloud of clear leaves with pearl inclusions, barely distinguishable against a pale ground. In the evening it is a luminous pool whose bottom cannot be made out: the light comes from everywhere and from nowhere.

Where it works

For formal spaces with high ceilings: atria, lobbies, double-height living rooms, banquet and wedding halls.

Style

Contemporary classicism and romantic minimalism: pale walls, plenty of air, light fabrics. The message is transparency — the composition is vast in volume and weightless in presence.
