Decorative composition
LC0229
Ink released into water. Cobalt is drawn into the clear body in uneven bands and swirls — a pattern water makes for itself and never repeats.
From a distance the composition reads as a single shoal moving as one; close up it breaks into separate bodies, each with its own marking. Scale decides what you see — the shoal or its members.
By day the object is restrained and almost graphic: cool silhouettes against a pale ground. In the evening the blue comes on at full strength, the light passes through several layers and emerges as a cold radiance — the room goes underwater entirely.
Where it works
For generous spaces with high ceilings: atria, lobbies, pools, spas, double-height living rooms, restaurant floors.
Style
Marine modernism and contemporary minimalism: white walls, water, natural stone, panoramic windows. The message is depth — the composition changes not the lighting of a room but its medium.
The overall size, the number of figures, the depth of the cobalt tone and the drop heights are all made to order.
