A skirt in movement. The tiers are laid in a wave: the hems run not in a circle but along a free line, rising and falling — the same curve fabric takes from a step.

The colour chosen is one on its way out: tea rose caught at the moment of fading. Not a fresh pink but the kind that will turn brown by tomorrow — and that is the whole character of the piece.

By day it is smoky fabric folded in the air — dense, matte, almost textile. In the evening the light runs down into the tubes from above, every tier lights up as vertical hatching, and dark divisions stay between the tiers: a dress put on over light.

Style
