Water striking an invisible obstacle. Above, the ribbons run strictly vertical in a tight bundle; lower down they separate and curve gently outward — a jet that has met something you cannot see.

Below, the composition grows luminous steps: narrow vertical plates at varying heights form an uneven toothed border — where the jets end, light begins.

By day it is a metal curtain — austere, graphic, with a clean vertical. In the evening the ribbons reflect light along their whole length and turn into glowing lines, while the plates burn from within as even warm rectangles: a flow frozen at the moment of falling.
