A meadow seen from below. The flowers face downward, each hanging at its own cable length, denser below and sparser above — an inverted pyramid the viewer looks into from underground.

The light hides in the gold hearts and runs down into the tassels, flaring at their tips as bright points. The white form gives no light at all — it works as silhouette, while all the brightness gathers in the hearts and threads.

By day it is a field of flowers hung from the ceiling — white, matte, calm. In the evening a luminous fringe of its own hangs beneath every flower: a swarm of fireflies, each with its own cup.

Style
