Lighting composition
LC0139
A composition about a crown. The elements stand vertically around the perimeter, tips upward, and lean outward — the silhouette comes out exactly like a diadem or the cup of an opened flower. The form is old and unambiguous: a crown, a bud and a defensive palisade are all built this way.
Inside the bowl the elements are denser and shorter, along the rim taller and sparser — the mass grows from centre to perimeter, and the object reads as opening.
By day it is a clear sculpture: the thick walls work as lenses, and the composition catches daylight from the window and scatters it across the table. In the evening the light enters each hook from below, travels the curve and gathers in the drop-shaped finial, which flares into a gold core. Every layer is visible right through — the crown seems filled with light entirely.
Where it works
Living rooms with high ceilings, dining rooms, lobbies, banquet halls, zones above a round table. A round bowl asks for a round table beneath it — form answers form.
Style
Grand classicism in contemporary execution: a diadem without a single ornament. The message is ceremonial — a piece for a table where people are received.
The bowl diameter, the number of elements, the height of the hooks and the depth of the setting are all made to order.
