Lighting composition
LC0555
Glass cups are lifted rim-up and folded like petals: each is bent on the diagonal, so a deep shadow is held at the middle. Brass tubes with a lit end stand between the cups and hang at different lengths. Light falls into the cup from above and the glass passes it downward, blurring the rim. The composition converges into a broad cone at its lowest point. Made to project.

@vargov_design →Light composition LC0555 A suspended composition in which clear glass takes on the architectural expressiveness of Eastern forms The smooth curves of the elements recall the elongated arches characteristic of Eastern architecture — light, striving upward, with a soft plasticity of silhouette and a subtle sense of rhythm. In each element you can read the image of an arched opening, where the transparent volume and the light work as a single structure. Warm vertical light sources heighten the architectural character of the composition, evoking illuminated vaults, slender columns and the evening light passing through the decorative spaces of Eastern interiors. When hung in a group, the composition gathers into a complex light ensemble — like a contemporary interpretation of an Eastern gallery, where each form supports the overall spatial line and creates a sense of depth, air and solemn plasticity.
