A composition about a stroke of the brush. Fine drawn-out forms read as feathers or as the traces of quick movements — a gesture rather than an object. Each with its own curve and its own character.
Golden capsules sit on the elements as tips: they add rhythm, warmth and points for the eye to settle on.
By day it is a layered flock of clear strokes — a piece read through movement and with almost no mass. In the evening the gold tips light up, the clear forms stay invisible, and what remains in the air is a single dotted line of movement — swift, light, effortless.
Where it works
Above a table, in an entrance hall, along a staircase, in a meeting room. The layering requires a view from the side — the composition is not hung high.
Style
Calligraphic aesthetics and contemporary minimalism: the gesture instead of the form. The message is light and precise — a piece for an interior that values a line.
The number of elements, the spread of the flock and the density are all made to order.
