Lighting composition
LC0138
A composition about interlock. The rings pass through one another and form couplings — the composition is held not by its suspensions but by its own connections. The form is deliberately irregular: every ring has its own geometry, closer to an oval here, to a triangle with rounded corners there. Not one true circle among them.
Straight gold crossbars are set between the rings — they work as graphic pauses and stop the mass turning into a jumble.
By day it is a sculpture of interlocked rings — a gold band, a clear inset with a grainy texture, the piece read through outline. In the evening the light travels the entire perimeter and flares on the grainy texture in fine sparks, while the band reflects it and traces every ring with a hot line. What remains is an interlacing of luminous loops suspended in emptiness.
Where it works
Living rooms with high ceilings, lobbies, stairwells, reception rooms. The couplings read in the round — the piece is designed to be walked around rather than viewed frontally.
Style
Jewellery modernism and contemporary sculpture: the link as the unit of composition. The message is spare and expensive — a piece for an interior that rests on one strong detail.
The overall size, the number of rings, the calibres and the gilding finish are all made to order.

The light element is like the stone: a warm glow concentrated at the centre holds the form and sets the rhythm of the whole composition. Here the light does not flood the space but ‘sprouts’ from within — like the energy of life hidden in a core. The interweaving of elements creates a sense of organic chaos: nothing superfluous, yet not a single repeated form. The crystal works as a lens — it refracts the light, deepens the volume and adds a sense of movement even in stillness. This is an art object about the nature of form, balance and inner light. Like an avocado: outward softness and a strong, expressive core.
