Ripple instead of surface. The mosaic is set so that neighbouring facets face different ways: dense green here, almost white there, drifting into sea blue elsewhere — the colour is not fixed, it fluctuates.

The ribbon is rolled into a free loop and never repeats itself at any point. The only firm line in the whole form is the fine edging along the rim, which is also what holds it.

By day it is a sculpture in broken ice — cold, faceted, scattering highlights. In the evening the turquoise fills from within, the edging flares along the contour, and the ice becomes a wave lit from beneath.

For living rooms with high ceilings, lobbies, zones above a round table, spas and pools, restaurant floors.

Style

Contemporary modernism and a marine theme without literalness: pale stone, water, panoramic glazing. The message is the movement of water — a composition about how the surface of the sea is never level.
