A composition about depth. The tinting is uneven: almost colourless in places, thickening to honey in others, with visible runs in the body. This is not a flaw but a condition — because of that unevenness every element changes the light passing through it in its own way.

Twisted ribbons with sharp ends hang in layers, turned at random. The mass reads right through: behind the front layer you see the second and the third, and the depth of the composition becomes part of its drawing.

By day it is a cloud of crumpled forms — clear, warm, working on the refraction of daylight from a window. In the evening the light passes through several layers and gathers temperature on the way: where it goes through the colourless it stays white, where it crosses dense amber it fills with copper. The source cannot be found — the whole mass glows, and every element works as a lens for its neighbour.

Where it works

Living rooms with high ceilings, stairwells, lobbies, double-height spaces. The layering is visible only from the side and below — the composition is built for a specific height.

Style

The Murano tradition in a contemporary reading: colour held in the body rather than on the surface. The message is warm and collector-minded — a piece chosen by feel rather than from a catalogue.
