Lighting composition

A composition about a natural phenomenon. Every drop is a complete luminaire, yet on its own it means nothing: only mass turns a set of objects into rain.
The form is double: a mirrored tip flowing into a matte milky body. The flock is dense, narrowing toward the bottom.
By day it is silver and milk: the mirrored tips catch light, the matte bodies stay calm, and the composition reads through the difference between two surfaces. In the evening the milky bodies fill with an even glow while the tips go on reflecting — rain in which only the drops glow and the whole mass does not glitter.
Where it works
Living rooms, dining rooms, lobbies, stairwells. The monochrome does not argue with an interior — the composition crowns a space without dictating a palette to it.
Style
Contemporary classic and minimalism: silver with milk, nothing surplus. The message is calm and formal — a piece for an interior that chooses restraint.
The number of drops, the depth of the flock and the dimensions are all made to order.
