A composition about a surface grown by nature. The deep cellular texture reads as crystallisation or as cell structure — a drawing with no author. At the centre is a glossy sphere, a core, the only smooth detail in the whole piece.
The contrast is set simply: chaos around, order in the middle.
By day the object works as a wall sculpture: the relief catches daylight, every cell gets a shadow of its own, and the bowl looks volumetric with not one lamp on. In the evening the core gives a soft glow that spreads across the relief and does not dazzle — the moon and a pearl in the white version, a Martian crater with a warm interior in the terracotta one.
Where it works
Hallways, corridors, bedrooms at the bedhead, bathrooms, private living rooms. The light is soft and reflected — the wall light does not dazzle and suits rest areas. It works switched off as well.
Style
Natural minimalism and bio-design: texture as the principal content. The message is tactile — a piece you want to stand close to.
The diameter, the colour of the bowl and the colour temperature of the light are all made to order.
