A composition about two halves that behave in opposite ways. The left is white, glossy, reflective, without a single pattern. The right is bronze with botanical etching, where branches and grass heads emerge against the light. Between them a mixing zone, where the sails alternate.

The device lies in the fact that the difference is not immediately apparent. By day it is a transition from pure geometry to ornament — the piece reads as a gradient, calm and decorative.

In the evening the halves separate for good: the white reflects the light and stays opaque, only the rims glowing; the bronze transmits it and the etched pattern lights up from within, revealing the whole botanical graphic. One half falls into shadow, the other burns — the composition literally splits in two.

Where it works

Generous rooms — lobbies, double-height living rooms, banquet and restaurant halls, atria. The asymmetry sets a direction: the burning half is oriented toward the principal position.

Style

Contemporary Art Deco and botanical modernism: minimalism and ornament in one object. The message is contrastive — a piece for an interior that likes surprise.
