A composition about cloth that has caught a gust. Vertical sheets bend into free folds, and light from within makes a rigid form look soft — the contradiction the whole piece rests on.
This is a system from which anything can be assembled: a spare accent of five panels or a light architecture the full height of an atrium. There is no single correct shape — there is a logic of growth, as in natural structures.
By day it is a deep burgundy-chocolate beside mirrored gold: a dark register, rare in the world of light, read through folds and reflections. In the evening light comes out of the depth of the folds, slides along the curves and lifts the neighbouring sheets — not white gloss but depth: wine, chocolate, old gold.
Where it works
Atriums, lobbies, restaurants, private living rooms, stairwells. The dark register requires either a large volume or dark surroundings.
Style
Dark luxe and contemporary sculpture: drapery in a noble register. The message is adult and deep — a piece for an interior with a mood.
The make-up and the scale are made to order, to the ceiling height and the rhythm of the interior.
