LC0577
A composition about how a finish changes the voice of a form. The brand's familiar flagship curl is rendered in a dense glossy finish: the silhouette has become sharper, the form more composed, the plasticity more expressive. In the clear execution this element sounded light and airy; in the opaque white one it sounds substantial and sculptural. One character, two languages.
A fine gold capsule beside every element does not interfere with the form, it emphasises its rhythm.
By day the flock flies in a broad wedge, the gloss catching the reflections of its neighbours, and the composition reads as one movement — dense at the centre, thinned at the edges. In the evening the capsules draw warm verticals between the elements, and the wedge is stitched through with light.
Where it works
Living rooms, lobbies, dining rooms, stairwells. The wedge has a direction: the composition is oriented along the route from the entrance.
Style
Contemporary sculpture and Art Deco: the curl as a signature. The message is expressive — a piece for an interior that wants plasticity.
The number of elements, the spread of the flock and the ratio of mass to light are all made to order.

Now this flagship element has been given a new interpretation in ceramic. In ceramic the form sounds even clearer: the silhouette becomes more composed, the plasticity more expressive, and the element itself reads as an independent decorative object. Here light works separately — in additional sockets with a diode, not interfering with the form but only emphasising its rhythm and volume. It is interesting to see how the same form, keeping its character, begins to speak in a completely different way in another material. Sometimes it is precisely such elements that define the language of a brand for years to come.
