A composition about density. Hundreds of drops hang almost touching, in layers — a mass so thick that it stops reading as individual elements. The upper zone is left empty, only the hatching of cables; everything gathers in the lower half with a ragged edge.

Each drop is twisted on its axis: a sharp tip below, an open hollow at the middle. The thickness works as a lens, and once the light has entered the mass it never leaves in a straight line.

By day it is a wall of ice — clear, dense, read through highlights and the refraction of daylight. In the evening the light passes from element to element, refracting at every twist, and the source cannot be found: the volume itself glows. Because the mass is dense the illumination comes out even and diffuse, without a single hard highlight. A downpour frozen in the air.

Where it works

Generous rooms — lobbies, atria, double-height living rooms, banquet halls. Even glare-free light is comfortable where people spend time beneath it.

Style

Contemporary classicism and minimalism: mass instead of pattern. The message is monumental — a piece that works through volume, not detail.
