A composition about a current. The mass runs from the upper left corner to the lower right in a broad band, with every leaf turned along that direction. The diagonal is no accident: the horizontal reads as rest, the vertical as falling, and only the diagonal reads as movement.

The large elements gather in the upper part, the small ones below, where the current breaks into single leaves. The colour drifts from golden ochre to deep bottle green, with translucent passages here and there.

By day it is a current caught in a frame: a diagonal band living on colour and inclination. In the evening the light enters the body and spreads across the whole plane of the leaf, filling the green from within and flaring on the gold passages; the cables vanish into darkness and do not read, so the leaves seem carried by the current. A shoal crossing the room on the diagonal.
