A snowfall with no lower boundary. The mass is dense at the centre and thins toward the edges, the top empty — only a net of cables. The object seems to hover rather than hang.

The shards are of varying calibre and scattered with no grid at all: from large plates down to crumbs. The light refracts on every facet and travels onward to the neighbours — the whole composition glows and the source is impossible to find.

By day it is snow stilled in the air — cold, silvery, almost soundless. In the evening rare warm points appear among the cold sparks, and the snowfall becomes a swarm of fireflies over water: a winter with summer loose inside it.

Style

Nordic minimalism and contemporary classicism: pale walls, plenty of air, a subdued palette. The message is quiet — a composition about snow that falls while everyone sleeps.
