A composition about a vortex. The mass begins broad at the top, twists into a spiral and descends, narrowing to single elements. The cables vanish into darkness and do not read, so the scales seem to hang unsupported, caught in a current.

The elements are small, no larger than a palm, and mean nothing individually — only the mass works. Clear, gold and dark bronze are intermixed: three ways of meeting light in one current.

By day it is the trace left by a whirlwind: a drawing in the air, living on reflections, all but imperceptible. In the evening not every element glows but one in ten — the gold ones give warm flares, the clear ones cold sparks, the bronze ones almost extinguish. Most of the mass stays dark, and that is exactly why the composition reads as movement rather than object: a current of sparks descending between floors.

A vertical format for tall openings — stairwells, atria, shafts between floors, double-height living rooms. The spiral is designed for the specific height.
