Lighting composition
LC0599
Glass panels drawn with pointed arches and rose windows hang in a cascade that narrows towards the bottom. Brass clamps grip each panel at the edges and gather the wiring at the same time. The source sits behind the panel, so the tracery reads dark against a warm field. The panels are turned at different angles: the drawing is sometimes fully open, sometimes reduced to an edge. Made to order for the project.

@vargov_design →Light composition LC0599 The inspiration for this composition was the majestic Gothic architecture of medieval cathedrals. Each glass plate is decorated with the finest laser engraving echoing the silhouettes of the windows that for centuries filled churches with light and a special atmosphere. Dozens of clear glass elements of various shapes and sizes float freely in space on fine suspensions, forming a multi-layered, voluminous structure. Where the elements overlap, a complex play of lines, reflections and shadows arises, thanks to which the composition changes constantly depending on the point of view. Brass light accents emphasise the graphics of the engraving and create an effect of inner glow, as if rays of sun were passing through the stained glass of an old cathedral. The composition unites the modern technology of laser glass processing and the aesthetic of Gothic architecture, turning light into a language of history, form and space.
