LC0566
A composition about ascent. The cascade narrows downward and the piece reads as a current slowly rising, drawing the light up behind it — the movement runs against expectation.
Cold chrome and warm amber work off each other: the contour rules strict verticals and arcs, the drops fill them with a dense glow. Each is twisted its own way — there are no two identical movements in a current.
By day it is chrome loops with amber drops inside: a piece read through the graphic of the contour and the colour of the drops. In the evening the drops fill with honey, the chrome goes into shadow, and what remains is a single stream of warm points rising from the bottom up.
Where it works
Vertical spaces — stairwells, double-height entrance halls, atriums, where upward movement can be shown at full height.
Style
Contemporary Art Deco and sculptural modernism: the rising current as subject. The message is optimistic — a piece for a vertical that leads the eye upward.
The height of the cascade, the number of elements and the ratio of chrome to amber are all made to order.

The curved lines of metal recall a continuous rhythm, while the glass elements work as fine light accents, gathering within themselves reflections, depth and a faint inner shimmer. This composition reads as light plasticity: multi-layered, alive, changing with the angle of view.
