A composition about a branch growing up a wall. The flowers open in different directions, the trumpet stems fly apart in a free graphic — the vertical reads as a plant rather than as a composition.
Among the white flowers there is one smoky and clear: a shadow in the bouquet that gives it depth. Without it the branch would be flat.
By day it is fine plasticity and chrome graphic work: white flowers with a live uneven edge read as anemones or poppies, and the smoky one works as a hollow. In the evening a soft light leaves the mirrored hemispheres at the cores and settles as haloes around every corolla — warm islands of light appear on the wall.
Where it works
Wall piers, walls beside a bedhead, corridors, stair flights, hallways. The vertical branch sits on a narrow surface where a wide wall light would not fit.
Style
Art Nouveau and contemporary classic: the branch as a classic wall motif. The message is alive — a piece for an interior that loves botany.
The number of flowers, the inclusion of smoky accents and the height are all made to order.
