Sconce — wall sculpture
LC0564
Cast brass forms an elongated openwork leaf with a torn edge and ring-shaped cells. Clear lenses are set into the cells, growing rounder and clustering toward the middle. The sources are hidden behind the metal, so the light collects in the lenses and flares as points across the whole plane. Three views of one model are shown. Made to project.

It has a sense of oceanic mystery — as if natural matter were continuing to grow right on the surface of the wall, turning into a glowing object.
