A composition about a line written in one movement. A vertical loop of polished gold holds two clear drops inside it — the contour sets the geometry, the drop breaks it. The object lives in that balance.
In the mass of the drops there is a scattering of air bubbles.
By day it is a gold line with clear forms inside: a piece read through contour and bubbles against the light, graphic and light. In the evening segments of light lift the drops from above and below, they catch fire from within and the bubbles flare as a constellation — the loop stays dark and what is inside it glows.
Where it works
Singly beside a mirror or a bedhead, in a pair flanking a portal, in a rhythmic series along a corridor or a staircase. The vertical accent takes little wall space.
Style
Art Deco and contemporary classic: the loop and the drop as a pair. The message is elegant — a piece for an interior with poise.
The finish of the contour, the character of the drops and the height are all made to order.
