Lighting composition
LC0502
The piece is built as wings: the feathers are cast in glass one by one and gathered into overlapping rows. A polished brass arc runs along the upper edge of each wing, holding the row and concealing the source. The light enters the feathers from the arc and weakens towards their sharp ends, so the lower edge of the cascade stays almost dark. Span and number of wings are set per project.
