Clear glass crescents hang on cables and catch on one another at the curves. The body of the crescent is cut with lengthwise ribs that hold the highlight along the whole arc. A brass bar with an LED is clamped at the end of each element: the light enters the cut face and runs round the arc to the far edge. The density of the cascade is built to the stairwell volume.
