Lighting composition
LC0310
The same fire, divided in two. Half the tongues burn evenly and softly, half flare with sharp highlights — one flame shown at two temperatures at once.
The light is hidden in the upper part of each element and runs down the spiral — against the usual logic of fire. Because of that the composition reads not as a bonfire but as a torch, inverted and hung.
The sheaf narrows toward the bottom and ends in a few solitary tongues, the way a real torch ends in sparks.
By day it is a sculptural group: two textures arguing over one form. In the evening the argument ends — every tongue burns separately, and the whole vertical becomes a single flame.
Where it works
A vertical format for staircases, bay windows, double-height living rooms, tall entrance halls.
Style
Contemporary classic and neoclassicism: pale walls, mouldings, brass. The message is festive restraint — the composition is dressed up exactly enough not to become excessive.
The height of the sheaf, the number of elements and the balance of lit to reflecting are all made to order.
