A bonfire arrested at the moment of the flare. The tongues are twisted into spirals and drawn upward — the movement runs against gravity, and that is the only thing the composition asserts.

A mirrored coating on the inside changes the nature of the elements: they read as metallic rather than clear, and reflect one another, creating an endless gold echo inside the ring. The light lifts the tongues from below — from where a real fire burns.

By day the composition looks like a giant brooch; in the evening, like a flame that was not allowed to go out.

A ring format for round tables, rotundas, the central zone of an entrance hall, banqueting halls, restaurants.

Style

Art Deco and grand opulence: gilding, mirrors, deep colours, symmetry. The message is celebration — the composition was made for occasions and does not hide it.
