Driftwood raised out of the forest and hung from the ceiling. The trunks are worked down to their cracks, knots and burls — the texture is real, found rather than invented.

Beneath the branches hangs rain: thousands of the finest threads with points of light at their ends, of varying length, answering the least movement of air. The light lives only at the tips — hundreds of white sparks in several layers.

By day it is graphic work: dark branches and silver fringe. In the evening the branches dissolve into darkness and what remains is glowing rain with no source — the effect the whole thing was built for.

Very large spaces: atriums, hotel lobbies, panoramic halls, banqueting spaces, winter gardens.

Style

Eco-luxury and natural Art Nouveau: stone, wood, live plants, large volumes. The message is a forest after rain — the composition brings the state of nature into a room, not a picture of it.
