A composition about the trace of wind. There is no cloud here and no symmetry — there is a line: the leaves run in a broad arc that winds into a spiral, and density falls from the centre toward the ends. Single elements remain on the tails, strays from the current.

The leaf form is narrow, with sharp ends and a twist on its axis, the rims thickened. Some are clear, some carry a gold backing that gives a warm mirrored interior — and that determines how each element will behave with light.

By day it is a trace left by wind: a drawing in the air, read through highlights. In the evening the leaves begin to burn selectively — the clear ones transmit and diffuse, the gold ones reflect and flare, and as you walk around the composition the brightly burning elements change, because they depend on the angle. The cables vanish into darkness and the leaves seem to hang unsupported. A current of sparks curving around the room.

Where it works

Large volumes and irregular geometry — stairwells, atria, curved halls, double-height living rooms. The arc is designed for the specific volume: it does not fit into a space, it runs through it.

Style

Contemporary sculptural installation: the composition as an architectural gesture. The message is authorial — a piece that makes a space recognisable.
