The same form, stripped of contrast. The wings are entirely clear, and giving up the second finish changes the piece fundamentally: instead of the interplay of white and mirror, what remains is pure optics.

The wings hang at random and are laid in a spiral, with the sources standing between them. The body of each wing works as a lens: a glowing core appears in the hollow and a bright thread runs along the rim.

By day the composition is all but invisible and shows itself only in highlights — a clear mass that is easy to overlook. In the evening every layer is visible at once, the front one and everything behind it: the piece reads right through, with real depth, and never looks solid. A cloud of lights, each in its own setting.

Where it works

Living rooms with high ceilings, dining rooms, lobbies, stairwells. Transparency needs a dark backdrop: against a white ceiling the piece disappears by day.

Style

Contemporary classicism and minimalism: light as the only material. The message is clean — a piece for an interior that refuses colour.
