Composition video LC0027 Hundreds of clear crystal elements form an expressive relief of light, recalling a modern city skyline frozen in space. Thanks to the varying drop lengths and the mix of elements 300, 400 and 500 mm tall, the composition looks dynamic and changes constantly as you move around it. Each cylindrical element is made of clear colourless crystal with fine matte notches. These graphic lines refract the light, creating an intricate play of highlights, reflections and glowing layers within the material. By day the composition reads as an airy glass sculpture; in the evening it becomes a three-dimensional light installation with a soft, warm glow.
